Women’s History Month is a celebration of women’s contributions to history, culture and society and is observed each year in the United States during the month of March.

American Women's History Online

American Women's History Online is an authoritative reference database containing biographies, historical and topical subject entries, primary sources, maps and charts, images and videos, and general and subject-specific timelines encompassing more than 500 years of American women's history. More than 60 historical videos cover such topics as working women, women in politics, and changing women's fashions. Users can search for entries by keyword or phrase, or they can browse by topic and by time period—from nine historical periods relevant specifically to women's history.
